Carol Ann Marburger

CAROL ANN MARBURGER, 69, of Imperial (Independence Twp.) died Saturday morning, July 26, 2014 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Jan. 15, 1945, in Imperial, she was the beloved daughter of the late Hillard Weir and Caroline (Engel) Beitsinger.  A homemaker, Carol was a very active member of the Clinton United Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Raccoon Women’s Club.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 15 years, William L. Marburger, whom she married Dec. 19, 1999; her children: Stacy Brinkman and her companion, Steve White; John (Beth) Brinkman, Sandra (Ron) Snatchko, and Jim Brinkman; stepchildren: Greg Marburger and his companion, Kathy; Lori (David) Girard and Billy (Alisa) Marburger; beloved sister of Jack (Michelle) Beitsinger, Judith (Gene) Bolind, Sandra Beitsinger and Janet (Fred) Werner; five grandchildren: Nicole Snatchko, Zachary Marburger, Morgan Brinkman, Ronald Snatchko, and Alex Brinkman.

Friends are welcome to call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton. Everyone is asked to meet at the Clinton United Presbyterian Church on Thursday where her services will be conducted at 11 a.m.; her pastor, the Rev. Laura Strauss, officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made, in her name, to the Clinton United Presbyterian Church.
