Ingrid E. Augustine

INGRID E. AUGUSTINE, 75, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015, while in the care of the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born January 22, 1940, in Insterburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Reinhold and Ella (Gollub) Radons. A homemaker, she along with her husband Chris were the owners and operators of the C&I True Value Hardware Store in Hopewell Twp.  She was also a member of the Raccoon Women’s Club. An avid quilter, she belonged to the Piece and Quilt Club, and was also an avid artist particularly oil painting.  Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Chris Augustine,, whom she married April 21, 1967, and her children and their spouses, Andrea and Paul Wolfe, Glenwillard; Veronica and Robert Bickerstaff, Ambridge, and Steven Augustine, Hopewell Twp.  A sister and her husband, Monika and Richard Nadj, Germany, survive.  Her six beloved grandchildren are Stephanie and Christopher Wolfe, and Miranda, Trent, Gavin, and Alyssa Bickerstaff.

Family and friends are welcome to call Thursday from 3-8 p.m. only in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton.  Famiy and friends are asked to meet at the Hebron Presbyterian Church, 1767 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026, on Friday where her services will begin at 11 a.m..  The Rev. Cinda Isler will officiate.

She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
