William J. Reddinger

WILLIAM J. REDDINGER, 89, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.), died in the comfort of his home Saturday morning, May 4, 2019, with his family at his side.

Born November 11, 1929, in Templeton, PA., a son of the late Herman Hervey and Eva Jane (Myers) Reddinger, he had worked as a stationary engineer in the hotel industry. William was a member of the Freedom Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed going to the Canfield Fair, going to antique shows, and his miniature train displays which he had collected for years. He also enjoyed camping, water skiing and farming.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Betty (Cain) Reddinger, who he wed April 25, 1950. He was the beloved father of Debbie and her late husband Fred Simunick, Raccoon Twp., Randy and Rhonda Reddinger, Rome, Pa.: and Shari and David Moore, and Richard Reddinger, all of Raccoon Twp.; a brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Cathy Reddinger, Raccoon Twp.; nine grandchildren, Matt and Beth Simunick, Chrissy (Keith) Helwig, Charity (Corey) Ulrich, Lucas (Kira) Reddinger, Brittany (Will) Enders, Amanda Moore, Nicole (Kevin) Parker, and Jamie Moore; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with his son, Pastor Randy Reddinger and son-in-law, Pastor Dave Moore officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
