Lawrence ‘Larry’ D. Wilson, Sr.

LARRY D. WILSON, SR., 75, of Bulger, died Monday evening, May 4, 2020 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Born, February 1, 1945 in Clinton, he was a son of the late James and Olive (McCullough) Wilson.

Larry had worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service and was a veteran of the National Guard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Deanna C. (Barnabi) Wilson, his children, Larry D. Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Hopewell Twp., Carla and her husband Howard Fugitt of Bulger, and Clinton and Jennifer Wilson of Moon Twp.. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Russell and Sherry Wilson of Bulger; sisters Nancy and her late husband Frank Wutter, and Marion and her late husband Cary Thomas. He is the grandfather of 4, and great grandfather of 1.

Due to the current Covid19 pandemic, the family will have a private viewing and service with the Rev. Dr. Cindy McClung officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial. PA.

Harry T. Buxton, Jr.

HARRY T. BUXTON, Jr., 72, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) died Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2020, at Caring Heights, Coraopolis.

Born July 23, 1947, in Sewickley, he was the last remaining son born to the late Harry T., Sr., and Marjorie D. (Hughes) Buxton.

Harry worked for KMart as a floor manager.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Michael Buxton. Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to current conditions, the family will have a private viewing and service officiated by the Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery beside his parents.

Memorials in his name can be made to one’s favorite charity.

Susan Diane Kimball

SUSAN DIANE KIMBALL, 55, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 in her home.

Karen Jean Cain

With sad and heavy hearts, we the family of Karen Jean Cain, 48, announce her sudden passing on March 20, 2020 at her Clinton residence.

She was a beloved daughter of the late Marvin and Marlene (Daugherty) Cain; dearest companion of Jim Davidson; cherished sister of Deb Wilson, Carl Cain, and Clint (Kelly) Cain. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her fur baby, Molly.

Knowing her caring heart and with the pandemic concerns, with the health and safety of family and friends in mind, her family has chosen cremation. Her ashes will be placed on her beloved mother’s grave at the Clinton U.P. Church Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Charlene R. Brown

CHARLENE R. BROWN, 67, of Clinton, died Friday morning, February 28, 2020, at Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born Mary 12, 1952, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Eileen (Reese) Rieth.

She was the beloved wife of Stephen D. Brown; mother of Celeste (Jedidiah) Howells, Michael (Stephanie) Brown, and Marjorie Brown; sister of Leona Jameson; grandmother of Judah, Emma, and Stephen; and daughter-in-law of David and Jody Brown.

Friends will be received in MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, on Monday, March 2, 2020, from 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Her Pastor, the Rev. Ernest Conley of the Life Point Alliance Church will officiate.

Private interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.

Thomas B. Craig, Jr.

THOMAS B. CRAIG, JR., age 58, of Imperial, died Sunday morning, February 23, 2020.

He was the son of the late Thomas B. Sr., and Dorothy K. (Rogers) Craig; father of Donald T. Craig; and father by heart of Tammy Mamula and Heather Hyre; brother of Daniel R. (Laura) Craig, Susan L. Smith, and Donna J. (Scott) Gessner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton. Interment will follow in the Clinton U.P. Cemetery.

Dolores J. Combs

DOLORES J. “Doe Doe” COMBS, age 80, of Clinton, died Thursday evening, January 9, 2020, in the Ohio Valley General Hospital, McKees Rocks.

Born October 30, 1939, in Slovan, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Kawensky) Vega.

A member of the Hebron Presbyterian Church, she worked alongside her husband, Delbert, on the family farm. Her passion was raising turkeys to be sold at Thanksgiving. She retired from the West Allegheny School District in 2002, having worked in the Custodial Dept. for 24 years.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, William Delbert Combs, whom she married April 6, 1963; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bird Peindl of Imperial, her sisters, Ramona (Roy) Cunningham, and Frances Vega, all of Burgettstown, and Judy (Roy) Schulte of Eldersville.

Friends will be received in the Moody Funeral Home, Route 30, Clinton, on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.. The Rev. Cinda Isler will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
