Ernest L. Hufnagel, Sr.

ERNEST L. HUFNAGEL, SR., 82, or Imperial (Findlay Twp.) died Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, PA.

Born March 18, 1937, he was the son of the late Ernest C. and Jessie L. (Eaton) Hufnagel. He is also pre-deceased by his brother, Daniel G. Hufnagel.

Surviving are his loving wife, Eleanor (Ebsen) Parson-Hufnagel; children, Elizabeth L. (Mac) MacLaughlin, Eleanor L. (Bob) Arnold, Ernest L. Hufnagel, Jr., Stephen D. “Rusty” Hufnagel, and Jennifer A. (Tom) Collins; Step-children, John Cunningham, Joseph Scott, Jordan Parson, and Lorna Woodhall; 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great step-grandchild; and sister, Janet R. Latshaw.

A memorial service will be held at the Clinton Wesleyan Church on January 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ted Chapman officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Eleanor J. Seibel

ELEANOR J. SEIBEL, 76, of Clinton (Independence Twp.) died Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019 at Manor Care Greentree.

Born December 5, 1942 in McKees Rocks, she was the daughter of the late Donald R. and Catherine (Murin) Benson. A homemaker, Eleanor had also worked for US Air in many positions for 25 years.

Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, John F. Seibel; two sons and daughter-in-laws James and Candice Seibel of Clinton, and Kenneth and Kathy Seibel of Georgia. She was the sister of Robert Benson Richard Benson, Andrea Fuchs, and Mary Powell; cherished grandmother of five; Megan, Jarod, Lily, Zane, and Max.

Cremation service provided by the Moody Funeral Home, Route 30, Clinton. Interment will take place at a later date in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Ira W. “Bill” Wilson

IRA W. “BILL” WILSON, age 87, of Imperial (Findlay Twp.) died on November 11, 2019.

Bill was a former construction supervisor with Peoples Gas for over 40 years, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years, Peggy (Craig) Wilson; children Debbie (Wayne) Chiaramonte, Trisha McCoy, Banks Wilson, Michael J. Wilson, and Linda (Dan) Fisher; four grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Dominick, Morgan L. McCoy, Casey B. McCoy, and Lauren (Corey) Shoup; and great-children Banks and Mason Shoup.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date in the Clinton U.P. Church Cemetery.

Donald Lloyd Boden, Jr.

Donald Lloyd Boden, Jr., 59, of Monaca, died Thursday, October 3, 2019 at his Monaca residence.

Born January 12, 1960 in Alliance, Ohio, he was a son of Donald Lloyd Boden, Sr. and Joyce A. (Lawyer) Chiccarello.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and worked as a steel worker with ATI. He was an avid outdoors man, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his mother, Donald was preceded in death by his son, Chad Douglas Boden.

In addition to his father, Don (Karen), he is survived by a sister, Debbie (Jeff) Wilbert; a brother, Jim Boden; the mother of his son, Monica Smith; and three nieces, Tiffany, Jessica, and Kali.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at the Findlay Township Activity Center at 310 Main Street, Imperial, PA. 15126 from 4 to 8 p.m. Casual dress.

Virginia Joy Cain

VIRGINIA JOY CAIN, 85, of Clinton, died peacefully Friday, September 27, 2019 at Good Samaritan Wexford.

She was born April 5, 1934 in Washington County and was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Dorothy V. (Burgeon) Holland.

A homemaker, she attended the Pleasant Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church of Hookstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Cain Sr. and a sister, Patricia Franklin. She is survived by her children, Linda (Richard) Blaydes, Donna Applegate, Paul William Jr. (Marikay) Cain, and Bruce (Bridgett) Cain; and a sister, Geraldine Redlin. She is the grandmother of Clint Lindner, Ashley (Ross) Sickeler, Chelsea (Brandon) McCarron, Bruce Cain Jr., and Jack Cain; great grandmother of Leah, Casey, and Billy Lindner, and Mackenzie Sickeler.

Her friend and pastor, Paul Tresse, will officiate at a private graveside service.

Frances M. Hile

FRANCES M. HILE, 80, of Coraopolis, died Monday morning, September 9, 2019 at Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born January 19, 1939 in Clinton, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Sr. and Frances M. (Alderman) Chambers.

A homemaker, Frances also had worked as a waitress in the food service industry.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers: Paul William and Charles Edward Chambers. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Marcia (Jack) Porter, Eva (Timothy) Ford, Ralph (Heather) Miller, and Dale (Rebecca) Miller. A brother, Albert Frank Chambers also survives. She was the grandmother of twelve.

Friends are welcome to call at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 Wednesday from 10 am until the time of her service at noon. Pastor Tim Ford will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial, PA.

Esther S. Patterson

ESTHER S. PATTERSON, age 86, of Calcutta, OH, died on September 3, 2019.

She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel C. Patterson, Sr.; dearest mother of Samuel C. Jr., and his wife Chris Patterson of Calcutta; sister of Joseph Stefanoni, of Bristol and the late John, Vincent, Pasqual, Frank, and Louis Stefanoni, Mary Russino, Elizabeth Lombo, and Stella Pawlikowski. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton on Friday only from 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. There will be a private interment at the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Richard C. Hughes

RICHARD C. HUGHES, 74, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) passed peacefully Wednesday afternoon, August 28, 2019, in the comfort of his home, with family at his side.

Born February 11, 1945, in Sewickley, he was a son of the late George W. Sr. and Anna Margaret (Seifert) Hughes. He had worked as a steel worker at Homestead Industries, Coraopolis for 26 years, retiring in 1991. He then worked for the West Allegheny School District for 20 years, retiring in 2011.

He was the beloved husband of JoAnn (Obeldobel) Hughes; dearest father of Cathy Jo and her husband, Kevin Ulens; brother of Laura and her husband, Randy Johnston, Elizabeth Boyer and her late husband, James, Sharon Crisco and her late husband, Joseph, the late Althea Hughes and her companion the late Franny Craig, and the late George W. Hughes, Jr.; brother-in-law of Nancy Hughes and the grandfather of Devin and Richelle Nestler and Tyler and Adam Ulens.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, on Sunday, September 1, 2019, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ted Chapman, of the Clinton Wesleyan Church officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Marjorie D. Buxton

MARJORIE D. BUXTON, 90, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) died Saturday evening, August 17, 2019 at Caring Heights Coraopolis.

She was born on May 20, 1929 in Clinton. She was a daughter of the late Fieldy and Florence (Gray) Hughes. A homemaker, Marjorie enjoyed gardening and farming when younger.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Buxton, Sr., a son, Michael Buxton, and three brothers, Mick, Carl, and Bob Hughes.

Surviving is her son Harry T. Buxton, Jr.; a brother and sister-in-law, Chester and Evelyn Hughes; and two sisters, Darlene Jackson and Barbara Hughes. Also surviving are six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

Friends are welcome to call at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial, PA.

Audrey R. May

AUDREY R. MAY, age 91, formerly of Calcutta, Ohio died on August 6, 2019.

She was the wife of the late Joseph May; mother of Albert “Bill” William and his late wife, Cheryl Wasson, Ronald Edward and his late wife, Joyce Wasson, Janet E. Thiele and the late James Franklin and his late wife, Arlene Wasson; sister of David Roessler and the late John, Harry, Edward, and Albert Roessler, Dottie and her late husband, John Ardeno, Laura and her husband, John Weaver, Keith Ann and her husband, Thomas Hillberry, Darlene McVay, Judy Pugh and the late Britta Phillips, Mary Cumer, and Shirley Hamilton; grandmother of 18; great-grandmother of two.

Friends will be received at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 30, Clinton Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Saturday, August 10th at 11 a.m.
