Wilma V. Beckman
WILMA V. BECKMAN, 91, of Hanover Twp., passed away Saturday evening, November 30, 2024 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
She was born on September 12, 1933 to the late Norman and Carrie (Williams) Johnson.
Wilma was also preceded in death by her husband, Max Beckman; son, David Beckman; and daughter, Linda Wrightsman. She is survived by her son, Max Beckman, Jr., and daughter, Barbara Beckman; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10am to 12 noon. She will be laid to rest immediately following the visitation, at the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial, PA.
Hank Work
HANK WORK, 50, of Ambridge passed away after a brief illness on September 25, 2024. He was born on July 19, 1974, son of the late Maxine (Boyer) and Henry Work. He was the brother of Billie and Joseph McCoy, Patricia and Warren Palmer, and Audrey and Keith English. Uncle of Samuel (Mandy), Kacy, Lynn, Warren, James, Eli (Dawn), Tammy (Franco), Jodie (Phil), and Milton (Ashley), as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Theodore, great-niece, Caitlyn, and great-nephew, Connor.
He worked his whole life in the commercial auto parts industry. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania #674. Known as “The Beast” in the ring, he lived his dream in his 20s working as a professional wrestler and entertainer with the United States Wrestling Federation, Universal Championship Wrestling, and the US Wrestling League. He was a superfan of all things football, especially the Steelers and Pitt. His life’s passion was volunteering with the Homeboys Foundation and empowering children on and off the field. There wasn’t a person he met who didn’t become a friend, and all of his friends became family. He will be missed by many.
A celebration of Hank’s Life will take place on October 19, 2024 from 2pm – 4pm at the Recreation & Sports Complex at Leopold Lake in the Township of Findlay. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Hank’s name to the Homeboys Foundation, 172 Princeton Dr., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
Dale Reddinger
DALE REDDINGER, 90, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.) passed Thursday morning, September 26, 2024 at UPMC-Presbyterian.
He was born April 17, 1934 in Tempelton, PA., the last surviving child of the late Herman and Eva (Myers) Reddinger. Dale had worked as a Physical Education teacher for many years in the West Allegheny School system.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 68 years, Catherine A. (Cain) Reddinger; his children are Dana Lynn (Jeffrey) Marquis, Jan M. Reddinger and Dale Curtis (Stephanie) Reddinger. He was a very loving and involved grandpap of 7, and a great grandfather of 10. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and John B. Reddinger and his sister, Margaret Thomas.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 where his service will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
Bernice Joanne Guyaux
BERNICE JOANNE GUYAUX, 88, loving wife and mother, of Moon Twp., died Thursday afternoon with family by her side at Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Twp.
She was preceded in death by her parents Gaetan and Margaret (Hicks) Ponticel, and her husband, Lynn Guyaux, Jr.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Lynn Guyaux III (Janice) of Beaver, PA., Vickie Crighton (Cliff) of Georgetown, PA., and Lee Guyaux (Laura) of Center Township, PA.; along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton 15026 on Sunday, August 11th from 2-4 pm. Her service will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 am with Pastor Robert R. Kern officiating. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
Patricia A. LaFond
PATRICIA A. LAFOND, 85, of Oakdale died on Friday, August 2, 2024.
She was the wife of the late Theodore A. LaFond; mother of Michael O’Brien, Debbie Tuite, Robert O’Brien, Richard O’Brien, Ronald O’Brien and Sheri Broadbent. A sister and numerous grand and great grandchildren survive.
As per her request, cremation will take place with no visitation or service.
Melvin R. Bohon, Sr.
MELVIN R. BOHON, SR., 69, of Crescent Township passed peacefully in his sister’s home with his three sisters at his side on Friday morning, August 2, 2024.
Born January 1, 1955 in Sewickely, Melvin was a son of the late David H. and Alma B. (Humphrey) Bohon. He had worked in the housekeeping department at Robert Morris University and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam war. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, David Bohon.
He is survived by his children, Christina Wilmot, David and his wife Erin Bohon, Melvin R. Bohon, Jr., and Dale Bohon. His sisters are Judy Cvetkovich, Darlene Stark, and Marcy Joyner. He was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren.
It was Melvin’s request that he would be cremated and buried in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. His honors will be performed there on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1 pm.
Memorials in his name can be made to one’s favorite charity.
Donald R. Anderson
DONALD R. ANDERSON, 45, of Georgetown, died at his home on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
He was born to Mary Lou (Kinley) and Ronald J. Anderson on April 14, 1979. Donald is also survived by his brother, Rob Anderson, and sister, Heather Davidson.
All arrangements are private.
George W. Yetsick
GEORGE W. YETSICK, 75, of Georgetown, PA., passed away Thursday evening, July 4, 2024 in the comfort of his home.
Born to Michael and Katherine (Wishman) Yetsick on December 7, 1948, he is survived by his wife, Bernadette A. (Evans) Yetsick; children: Tammy and George Yetsick, Jr.; stepchildren, Jerry Truex, Bernadette (Scott) Blakeley, Tanya Huggins, and Kandy Polach; and his best friend, Michael “Charbo” Chechuck. He also has 8 step-grandchildren, and 5 great step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 11 to 1 at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA., where the service will be held at 1 PM. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial, PA.
Kathleen Bowen
KATHLEEN BOWEN, 74, passed away at her home in Imperial, on Saturday evening, April 13, 2024.
As per her request, cremation will take place, and she will be laid to rest in the Clinton U,P. Church Cemetery.
Benjamin E. DiMichele
BENJAMIN E. DiMICHELE, 71, of Clinton, PA. passed away Thursday evening, March 7, 2024 at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Beaver, PA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Olga (Karpa) DiMichele; his wife Kimberly H. DiMichele; and his children Benjamin and Patricia DiMichele.
Per his wishes, cremation will take place and all arrangements are private.
