HANK WORK, 50, of Ambridge passed away after a brief illness on September 25, 2024. He was born on July 19, 1974, son of the late Maxine (Boyer) and Henry Work. He was the brother of Billie and Joseph McCoy, Patricia and Warren Palmer, and Audrey and Keith English. Uncle of Samuel (Mandy), Kacy, Lynn, Warren, James, Eli (Dawn), Tammy (Franco), Jodie (Phil), and Milton (Ashley), as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew, Theodore, great-niece, Caitlyn, and great-nephew, Connor.

He worked his whole life in the commercial auto parts industry. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania #674. Known as “The Beast” in the ring, he lived his dream in his 20s working as a professional wrestler and entertainer with the United States Wrestling Federation, Universal Championship Wrestling, and the US Wrestling League. He was a superfan of all things football, especially the Steelers and Pitt. His life’s passion was volunteering with the Homeboys Foundation and empowering children on and off the field. There wasn’t a person he met who didn’t become a friend, and all of his friends became family. He will be missed by many.

A celebration of Hank’s Life will take place on October 19, 2024 from 2pm – 4pm at the Recreation & Sports Complex at Leopold Lake in the Township of Findlay. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Hank’s name to the Homeboys Foundation, 172 Princeton Dr., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
