Linda Sue (Eaton) Engel

LINDA SUE (EATON) ENGEL, age 62 of Clinton, PA went home to be with our Lord on December 15, 2015.

She was the beloved wife to Roy C. Engel III, loving mother to Donald (Vanessa) Vitez and Danielle (Stephen) Jurnak, doting grandmother of Darren Trecki, Jozi Thompson, Rutger and Sophia Vitez. Linda is preceded in death by her father David L. Eaton and mother Janelle Eaton. Sister of Sam (Sue) Eaton, John (Jackie) Eaton, Laura Yaros, Ruth (Christian) Nazarian, Jim (LuAnne) Eaton and Rob (Natalie) Eaton. Also survived by her  “mother” Joanne Eaton, numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Friends will be received Friday, December 18, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Rt. 30, Clinton, PA where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday with Pastor Jim Eaton officiating.  Interment will be at Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Richard A. “Bud” Hastings

RICHARD A. “Bud” Hastings, age 91, of Imperial, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

He was the beloved husband for 42 years to Dorothy M. (Mann) Hastings; stepfather of Christine Ann (Joe) Sinagoga of Imperial; brother of Helen Newman of Clinton, the late Lewis Stewart Hastings, and Shirley Ann Cain.  He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, PA.

Mary G. Hewlett

MARY G. HEWLETT, 74, of Clinton, PA, died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Heritage Valley Sewickley.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, George William Hewlett in 2008.

Mary is survived by her children, George (Debbie) Hewlett, Patricia (Marty) Carter, and Rebecca (Chris) Whitehill.

John M. Lappe

JOHN M. LAPPE, age 59, of Georgetown, (Hanover Township), died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in the comfort of his home with his wife at his side.

The beloved husband of Maureen M. Lappe, he was the father of Nicole Lappe, John Lappe, and Steven Lappe; brother of Bernard and Raymond Lappe, Marilyn Miller, Thomas Lappe, Andrea Leavitt, and Angela Walker; grandfather of Julian Lappe; and nephew of Rosemarie Bauer.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Memorials in his name can be made to ones favorite charity.

Bryan Lee Thomas

BRYAN LEE THOMAS, age 56, of Clinton, PA, passed away on July 30, 2015, in the arms of his wife and daughter, surrounded by many loved ones.

He leaves his beloved wife, Pamela (Abercrombie) Thomas; their loving daughter, Donna and her husband, Steven Guthrie; two amazing grandsons, Steven Jr., and Leeland; and his best friend, Robert A. Falcione; as well as many incredible friends.

Bryan was the son of the late Joseph and Donna Jean Thomas.

Friends will be welcome Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated to assist with his medical bills.

Judith Ann Patosky

JUDITH ANN PATOSKY, age 69, of Clinton, Pennsylvania (Hanover Twp.), went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Heritage Valley Medical Center at Beaver after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Born December 22, 1945, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geneva (Wojnaroski) Lampel.  She was a graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School, Davidsville, Pennsylvania.

She worked in many roles throughout her life, which included Sun Drug, Ikoff Corp., Triridge Corp., Modern Glass, Hanover Twp. Secretary, Shippingport Atomic Plant, LSI for 16 years, Deacon of Hanover Church, Benjamin’s Restaurant, and she was an intricate part of helping make Patosky Express a success for almost 20 years.

She was a lifelong member of SNPJ Lodge 106.  She took great pride in being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Most recently she made sure to be an important part of her grand children’s lives.  Over the years she helped with many organizations including, but not limited to being a Den Leader for Pack 496, and an active member of the South Side School PTA (including working hard at the Hookstown Fair to raise money via the chicken booth with her best friend Linda Parnell).  She loved playing bingo, gambling at Mountaineer and making the lives of her grandchildren extra special.  She looked forward to the annual trips with her grandchildren to Cass Scenic Railroad in West Virginia and to Idlewild Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Patosky, after 45 years of marriage.

Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Dawn (Hoover) Patosky and their children Benjamin, Emily and Theodore, all of Hookstown; Kevin and Jen (McElhaney) Patosky and their children Josephine and Joseph, all of Hanover Twp.; three brothers, Joseph and Carol Krouse) Lampel of Johnstown, PA., Larry and Linda (Noble) Lampel of Johnstown, PA., and Donald and Paula (Kelly) Lampel of Tire Hill, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald “Pete” Lampel of Hollsopple, PA.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.  Her pastor, the Rev. Jefferson Ellis will officiate.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.

Lynda M. Bohley

LYNDA M. BOHLEY, age 68, of Clinton, died Monday morning, July 20, 2015, in the comfort of her home, with family at her side.

She was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Mary Helen (Veljus) Bouvy.  Surviving are her husband, Frank G. Bohley; her children and their spouses, Christi (Eric) Koenig, Michael (Libby) Bohley, and her late son, Frank Walter Bohley; a brother, Tim (Gail) Bouvy; and a sister, Ruth and her late husband, Fred Beiden.  Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren, Erica, Jared, Emma, Michael, Jr., Joshua, and Ava.

There will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 11 a.m., at the West Ridge Christian Community Church, 100 Gorwood Dr., Coraopolis, PA 15108.

Memorials can be made in her name to Pilgrimage Hospice, 412-489-6874.

 

 

Darlene F. Jackson

DARLENE F. JACKSON, 56, of Clinton, died Wednesday evening, July 8, 2015, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital with family at her side.

Born February 24, 1959, in Sewickley, she was the beloved daughter of Darlene J. (Hughes) Jackson, Clinton and the late William R. Jackson.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, William F. (Billy) Jackson, and an infant sister, Donna Marie Jackson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, Sunday from 12-2 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Cinda Isler of the Hebron Presbyterian Church officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Herbert F. Roessler

HERBERT F. ROESSLER, age 62, of Clinton, died on June 27, 2015.

He was the beloved husband of Dorothy J. (Nadik) Roessler; dear father of Herbert (Shanna) Roessler, Jr., Christine (Thomas) Wiley, and Andrea Roessler; brother of Becky Medved, Harry (Nancy) Roessler, Barb Cook, and Betty Jo (Frank) Lapin. Also surviving are four beloved grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr Roessler was a member of the Richard Vaux Lodge #454 F&AM Burgettstown.

Friends will be received at MOODY FUNERAL HOME Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friends can meet at the funeral home Thursday morning, and then proceed to the Hebron Presbyterian Church, at 9:30 a.m., where his services will be held at 10 a.m..

Donations in his name may be made directly to his family.

Mary L. Pargeon

MARY L. PARGEON, age 85, of Clinton, died June 22, 2015.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert L. Pargeon; mother of Stephen (Cheryl) Pargeon, Lisa (Jim) Muzy, Brett Pargeon, Dean (Jennifer) Pargeon, Jeanne (Kevin) Eberhardt, and the late Jay Pargeon. Also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Shirley; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Wesleyan Church.

Interment will be at the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
