Judith Ann Patosky

JUDITH ANN PATOSKY, age 69, of Clinton, Pennsylvania (Hanover Twp.), went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at the Heritage Valley Medical Center at Beaver after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Born December 22, 1945, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geneva (Wojnaroski) Lampel.  She was a graduate of Conemaugh Twp. High School, Davidsville, Pennsylvania.

She worked in many roles throughout her life, which included Sun Drug, Ikoff Corp., Triridge Corp., Modern Glass, Hanover Twp. Secretary, Shippingport Atomic Plant, LSI for 16 years, Deacon of Hanover Church, Benjamin’s Restaurant, and she was an intricate part of helping make Patosky Express a success for almost 20 years.

She was a lifelong member of SNPJ Lodge 106.  She took great pride in being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Most recently she made sure to be an important part of her grand children’s lives.  Over the years she helped with many organizations including, but not limited to being a Den Leader for Pack 496, and an active member of the South Side School PTA (including working hard at the Hookstown Fair to raise money via the chicken booth with her best friend Linda Parnell).  She loved playing bingo, gambling at Mountaineer and making the lives of her grandchildren extra special.  She looked forward to the annual trips with her grandchildren to Cass Scenic Railroad in West Virginia and to Idlewild Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Patosky, after 45 years of marriage.

Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Dawn (Hoover) Patosky and their children Benjamin, Emily and Theodore, all of Hookstown; Kevin and Jen (McElhaney) Patosky and their children Josephine and Joseph, all of Hanover Twp.; three brothers, Joseph and Carol Krouse) Lampel of Johnstown, PA., Larry and Linda (Noble) Lampel of Johnstown, PA., and Donald and Paula (Kelly) Lampel of Tire Hill, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald “Pete” Lampel of Hollsopple, PA.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.  Her pastor, the Rev. Jefferson Ellis will officiate.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
