Richard D. Warner

RICHARD D. WARNER, 79, of Imperial (Findlay Twp) passed Monday afternoon, December 19, 2022 at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh.

Born July 22, 1943 in Batavia, New York, he was a son of the late Wesley and Adelia M. (Elwell) Warner. Richard was a member of the Clinton Wesleyan Church, the Ben Franklin Society, Alcoholics Anonymous, and the Printing Industries of America. He had worked as a director of research in the printing industry.

Surviving is his wife, Eula Lorraine (Anderson) Warner, his son and daughter-in-law Rich and Heather Warner, grandfather of 4, Paige, Ricky, Courtney, and Alec, great-grandfather of 10. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Audrey Warner.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Monday, December 26th from 2-4 and 6 pm until the time of his service at 8 pm. His Pastor, Rev. Ted Chapman will officiate. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 2 pm in the East Bethany Rural Cemetery, East Bethany, New York.

Duane Miller

DUANE MILLER, 82, of Clinton (Independence Twp.) passed Wednesday evening, November 9, 2022 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Born January 11, 1940 on the family farm. He was a son of the late James Donald and Maye (McCoy) Miller.

He was a member of the Mt. Olivet EPC of Aliquippa. He, along with his wife Kelly, owned and operated the family dairy farm for over fifty years that has been in the family for over one hundred years.

He is survived y his wife of forty three years, Kelly (Veness) Miller, his children and their spouses, Ralph and Heather Miller, Dale (Rebecca Love) Miller, Marcia and Jack Porter, and Eva and Tim Ford, Jonathan and Sarah Miller, and Joshua and Kate Miller. Brother of the late Robert Miller and the late Gretchen and Paul Morrow.

Grandfather of twelve, Jeremy and Justin Porter, Alyssa, Jenna and Hannah Miller, Macy, Alex, Nicole and Levi Ford, Olivia and Theodore Miller, and Donald Mason.

Great grandfather of Logan. Also surviving is his father-in-law Donald and his late wife Barbara Jean Veness.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his funeral service Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11 am in the Mt. Olivet EPC, Route 151, Aliquippa. His pastor Rev. Kevin Neal will officiate.

Samuel G. Eaton

SAMUEL G. EATON, 85, of Clinton (Independence Twp.) passed unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at his Clinton residence. Born October 12, 1937 in Sewickley. He was a son of the late Fred and Mary (Hutchingson) Eaton. Sam was the proud owner and operator of an excavating company and a veteran of the US Air Force.

Surviving is his wife of sixty years, Judith G. (Byer) Eaton, his sons Dale Eaton, Carter and (Heather Frazier) Eaton, and Matthew Eaton. Grandfather of Josh and his wife Brenna Eaton, and great grandfather of Jackson and Karder.

Family and friends will be received in the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where his service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. The Rev. James Eaton will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.

Francis Frank Graff

FRANCIS FRANK GRAFF, 77, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) passed unexpectedly Monday evening, October 24, 2022 at his Clinton residence. Born December 17, 1944 in McKees Rocks, he was a son of the late Frank and Louise (Bauer) Graff.

Frank had worked for 40 plus years at the former Minnotte Manufacturing Co. in the West End, as an iron worker and welder/fabricator. He was a member of the Shopmen’s Local #527. A veteran of the US Army, Frank served during the Vietnam War. An avid outdoorsman, Frank enjoyed spending his time hunting and on his farm.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sondra Lee Graff, and a brother-in-law, Lou Dugas.

Surviving are his children, Renae Swanson, Frank and his wife Carrie Graff, and Brian and his wife Michele Graff. Brother of Louise Dugas and grandfather or Ava, Stella, Owen, Sophia, Ian, Emma, Anna, and Addie.

Entombment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

William Delbert Combs

WILLIAM DELBERT COMBS, 86, of Clinton (Findlay Twp), passed Thursday afternoon, October 27, 2022 at Concordia Villa Saint Joseph, Baden following a brief illness. Born August 11, 1936 in Sewickley he was the only child of the late William and Sarah (Cameron) Combs.

Delbert was a proud farmer, working the land and raising animals since he was child. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dolores “Doe Doe” (Vega) Combs on January 9, 2020.

He is survived by his devoted daughter, Susan and her husband Bird Peindl of Findlay Twp.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 where his service will be held Wednesday at 11 am. The Rev. Dr. Cindy McClung will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Mary Jane McCaffrey

MARY JANE McCAFFREY, 78, of Imperial (Independence Twp.) passed Sunday afternoon, October 16, 2022 in the comfort of her home with family at her side. Born December 24, 1943 in Sewickley, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert C. and Lenor (Nowatney) Cool.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James W. McCaffrey on January 9, 2019. She is survived by her children Dr. Dawn McCaffrey and her husband Ron Hayes, and James R. McCaffrey and his girlfriend Kirsten Wasylson. Grandmother of Khylinn and Griffin Hayes and his wife Hope Collins, Maura and Brian Foy. Great grandmother of Khylas Hayes and Josie Foy.

Margaret “Arlene” Cain

Margaret “Arlene” Cain (nee Wherry) of Gallatin TN will be sadly missed by her loving family after losing her long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on October 6, 2022. She was 83 years old and was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Cain, and her brothers Norman Wherry and Albert Wherry. She is survived by her children Barbara Smith (Mark), Beverly Cain and Stephen Cain (Lucy), and her grandchildren Allison Treasure (Mike), Randall Smith, Robert Cain and Catherine Cain, and her brother Larry Wherry.

Born July 14, 1939 in Clinton PA, Arlene graduated from West Allegheny High School in 1957 and married her beloved Bob Cain in 1958, and they raised their family in California, Pennsylvania and Illinois. After years as an executive secretary, she and Bob retired and moved to North Carolina and Tennessee to be
nearer their children and grandchildren. Arlene’s adventurous spirit, warm hospitality, positive attitude and authentic faith led her to make lifelong friends wherever she went and she exemplified her motto to
“Bloom Where You are Planted.” She loved quilting, reading, and serving the Lord, including many foreign mission trips. Arlene also loved singing hymns, much to the delight of caregivers in her later years. Throughout her life, Arlene was committed to make the most of every situation, and despite the early onset of Alzheimer’s Disease, she chose to bravely face her diagnosis and continued to bring joy to all
who knew her.

Friends will be received at the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 6-8 pm, where her service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11 am. She will be laid to rest in the Clinton U.P. Church Cemetery.

Dorothy Arbogast Daniels

DOROTHY ARBOGAST, 95, of Clinton passed Thursday morning August 25, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born May 13, 1927 in Navarre, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Brackman) Collasant. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Raymond R. Arbogast and two sons and daughter-in-law Jack and Monica Arbogast, and David Arbogast.

Surviving are her second husband Les Daniels, her son Rick and Karen Arbogast and numerous other family and friends.

Friends received at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME 1227 Route 30 Clinton, PA. 15026 on Thursday September 1, 2022 from 4 until 8 pm only, where her service will be held Friday September 2, 2022 at 11 am. Rev. David Moore officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

Martha M. Hulings

MARTHA M. HULINGS, 62, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) passed peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday afternoon, August 10, 2022. Born August 31, 1959 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of the late Ralph L. and Mabel J. (Wilkie) Hullings.

Martha retired from FENOC and enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, especially flowers, and time with her animals. She was known for her kind heart and caring soul and spunky attitude. She will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are her husband Brian Haffey; her children Caitlin, Eric, James, and Brian Michael Haffey. Her brothers are Ralph (Phoebe) Hulings, Bill (Cindy) Hulings, and the late Robert Hulings, a brother-in-law Kevin M. (Anne) Haffey, sisters Rouena Anderson and Libby (Bob) Shumaker, and sister-in-law Mary Lou Hulings. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.

Nancy Cool Tevis

NANCY COOL TEVIS, 87, of Clinton passed on Sunday morning, July 31, 2022 at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital.

Born July 17, 1935 in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Henry Rea and Florence Jane (Little) Cool. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Virant.

Surviving are her sons, Rob Meola, Kevin Meola, and Tim Tevis. Also grandmother of 6, great grandmother of 1.

Friends received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where her service will be held Thursday at 11 am, the Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Clinton U.P. Church Cemetery.
