Lillian Judith Heck
LILLIAN JUDITH HECK, 74, of Imperial (Findlay Twp) passed Tuesday evening, April 12, 2022. Judy had worked as a bus driver for West Allegheny School District for over 47 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, William Daniel Heck, on April 15, 2021, and a daughter, Candice Lynn Blair.
Surviving are her son, Michael Daniel Heck; her daughter, Pamela Jo Heck; her brothers, William (Sharon) Snedeker, Frank (Diane) Snedeker, and Andrew (Bonnie) Snedeker. Grandmother of Shane Scaff, Christian Heck, Colin Heck, Catherine Blair, and the late Samantha Scaff and Joshua Scaff. Great grandmother of Landon Scaff.
A celebration of Judy’s life will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Celebrations, 8110 Steubenville Pike, Imperial, Pa 15126. All are welcome to attend.
Keri Laniewski
Keri Laniewski (Harclerode / Watters),70, loving wife, mother and grammy, passed away in the early hours of March 19, 2022. She was born October 11, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas. The daughter of Robert Earl and Agnes “Bonnie” Jeanne (Causer) Harclerode. Raised by her cherished grandparents, Harry E. and Jesse Alzene (Mowry) Harclerode. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Richard Laniewski; her doting sons, Abram “Bucky” Watters III (Susan) and Justin Watters (Amy); her beloved Grandchildren, Amanda Littrell (Mike), Keri, Jordan, Sydney, Ty, Gracie and Katrina Watters, and Clayton and Hayden Lamb; adoring Great-Grandson, Abram Littrell; as well as many dear friends and a community that will miss her kind and selfless spirit.
Keri graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University while raising her two young sons, a testament to her strength and perseverance. She later accepted a position with U.S. Airways, where she met her husband, Rich, and many lifelong friends. Keri was a woman of character, dedicated to her faith, family, and wrestling. She was meticulous and thoughtful, placing a great deal of care on the little things in life. She lived a life of selfless service and leaves us with a legacy of love. She will be deeply missed.
The family invites you for visitation at MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Lincoln Hwy, Clinton, PA 15026 on Tuesday March 29, 2022, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Services and burial at Clinton United Presbyterian Church on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 11a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations instead to The Western Allegheny Community Library or a charity that’s close to your heart in her honor.
Mariane E. Marshall
MARIANE E. MARSHALL, 90, of Clinton (Independence Twp) died Wednesday February 9, 2022 at Heritage Valley Beaver. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Marshall.
Cremation will take place, and no services are planned.
Mark R. Bee
MARK R. BEE, 64, of Clinton (Hanover Twp) died in the comfort of his home February 4, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Catherine P. (Campbell) Bee.
Dennis J. Vish, Jr.
DENNIS J. VISH, Jr., 69, of Sewickley (Economy Boro) passed unexpectedly Monday morning January 10, 2022 at UPMC-Presbyterian.
Born February 1, 1952 in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Dennis J. and Wanda (Timchak) Vish, Sr. A devout follower of Christ, Denny was a member of the Aliquippa Christian Assembly Church, owner and operator, along with his wife Eleanor for 30 years of the 4th Ave. Pizzeria in Coraopolis. He was also a veteran of the US Air Force who loved the outdoors, especially fishing, his country, and his family.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Eleanor M. (Moody) Vish, his sons and daughters-in-laws Dennis J. (Kim) Vish III, and Daniel (Emily) Vish. Brother of Dianne (Gary) Danko, Barbara Brown, Sandra (Brad) Elliott, and Cheryl (Roger) Coburn. Beloved grandfather of Dominic, Dennis IV, Sadie, plus one on the way.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 6-8 and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ALIQUIPPA CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY CHURCH, 166 West Shaffer Rd., Aliquippa, PA. 15001 where his service will be held Saturday at 11 am. Pastor Jack Robison will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery, Imperial.
Elizabeth “Betty” Rhodes
ELIZABETH “BETTY” RHODES, 90, passed away at Concordia Villa St. Joseph Tuesday morning, January 4, 2022.
She is survived by her husband Richard R. Rhodes. No services are planned.
Frank A. Capalongo
FRANK A. CAPALONGO, 55, of Turtle Creek, passed Monday evening, January 3, 2022 at the Weirton Medical Center with his family at his side. Born October 16, 1966 in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of Ronald and Mary Loretta (Downey) Capalongo. Frank had worked as a contractor in the construction industry.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Khani Capalongo, his children, Michael R. Vattimo, Vincent A. Capalongo, and Amber B. Vattimo; and his sister, Carianne Bernadowski.
At this time, no services are planned and cremation will take place. Memorials in his name can be made to Mercury One on-line or to one’s favorite charity.
