Dianne H. Smith
DIANNE H. SMITH, 51, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.) passed unexpectedly Monday, April 3, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 6, 1971 in McKees Rocks, she was the beloved daughter of Barbara K. (Kellerman) and the late Thomas C. Hughes.
Dianne worked in the custodial department of the West Allegheny Middle Schools and loved to go gambling. Survivng in addition to her mother is her husband of five years, Scott A. Smith, Sister of Thomas J. (Terrie) Hughes, Lisa (John) Byerly, and Kim and her late husband, Tom Barker. Also surviving is her mother-in-law Rita Smith and her late husband Robert, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Brian (Wendy) Smith. Also nieces and nephews survive, along with her beloved fur babies Lettie, Parker, and Loki.
Friends are welcome to call at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Saturday April 8, 2023 from 11 am until the time of her service at 1 pm. Rev. Rick Anderson of the Tri State Community Church will officiate. In accordance with Dianne’s love of animals the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
Brian K. Eaton
BRIAN K. EATON, 48 of Clinton (Independence Twp.) passed unexpectedly Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his Clinton residence.
Born December 6, 1974 in Sewickley, he was the beloved son of Keith W. and the late Melody A. (Ubrey) Eaton. Brian was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Husband of Patricia (Kearns) Eaton, beloved father of Dylan John Eaton, Kora Mario Catherine Eaton, and the late Takoda Anne Eaton. Brother of Scott (Valerie) Eaton, Christine (Aaron) Martinez and Becky (Corey) Campbell. Son-in-law of Judy and Don Kearns. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the Clinton Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ted Chapman officiating on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11 am.

Anne Hozak Buchanan
ANNE HOZAK BUCHANAN, 101, of Clinton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Born October 24, 1921, in Edinboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Anna Cerny Hozak.
The Hozak family moved to Clinton when Anne was a young child. Although a lifelong resident of the area, she travel around the United States and visited countries including the Czech Republic, Austria, England, Germany, Italy, Canada, and Mexico.
Anne was an intelligent, self-educated woman and one of her greatest values was to acquire knowledge by reading books on archaeology, textiles, geography, history, and nutrition, just to name a few. She was often found at Barnes and Noble searching for books she could not find at the library, or attending the opera, ballet, symphony, or a historical society meeting.
One of her many hobbies was bird watching and distributing bluebird boxes in the local area to encourage the re-population of Eastern bluebirds. Throughout her working career, Anne managed Hozak Tree Farms for several decades and was on the board of the Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Growers Association. Through this distinction, she attained the opportunity to be a contestant on the TV show “To Tell the Truth,” which was popular during the 1960s. Her charismatic personality won her awards as a World Book representative. Many years ago, she was also head waitress at the well known Travelers Paradise Restaurant in Clinton.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be greatly missed by her children: Anne Shirley Buchanan and husband Winfried Seelig of Minnesota, Sylvia and husband Clifford (Kip) Campbell of Allison Park, John and wife Cheryl Buchanan of Maryland, Constance and husband Richard Purdy of Clinton, James and wife Diane Buchanan of Hookstown, and Jeffrey and wife Shelley Buchanan of Burgettstown; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one expected this summer; six great-great grandchildren; one sister, Vera McCoy; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, John R. Buchanan, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Daniel Hozak, Robert Hozak, and Martin Hozak; and two sisters, Esther Littell and Evelyn Seanor.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA. 15026 on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where her service will be held Monday at 2 pm. The Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
James O. “Jim” Campbell
JAMES O. “JIM” CAMPBELL, 77, or Bulger passed Sunday evening January 1, 2023 at Premier Washington Health Center. Born April 2, 1945 in Sewickley he was a son of the late Carl E. and Mary E. (Glass) Campbell. Jim graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 1963, went on to auctioneer school where he received his license. He established the Campbell farm in 1968 where he farmed his entire life, being an exceptional farmer and mechanic. He took pride in what he did. He spent many seasons in Hay Market Virginia operating combines and various equipment for many years.
He loved to square dance and polka dance, especially loving polka music. On September 7, 1963, he married Donna Yorns Campbell who passed away on February 27, 2012.
Father of Brian (Erin Denny) Campbell, Paul and Lisa Campbell, Lynn Ann and Douglas “Homer” Seibel, and Jody and Wayne Hartle. Grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 1.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm where his service will be held Friday at 11 am. Pastor Pat Schaefer of the Robinson Presbyterian Church will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Robinson Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Bruce D. Glass
BRUCE D. GLASS, 86, a lifelong resident of Clinton passed January 1, 2023 at West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Moon Twp. Born February 12, 1936 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Lenard and Martha (Snodgrass) Glass. He had worked as a truck driver and was a long time member of the Union Presbyterian Church of McKees Rocks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Sue Glass on October 29, 2002. He is survived by his children and their spouses Bob (Becky Hess) Glass, Jim (Deanna) Glass, and John (Lori) Butcher. Brother of Blair (Mary Kay) Glass and Janet Barton. Grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 15.
Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where his service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. Rev. Tom Ribar will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Memorials in his name can be made to the ASPCA, in accordance with Bruce’s love of animals.
