Albert E. Castagnacci

ALBERT E. CASTAGNACCI, age 74, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) was reunited with his wife on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. He was born July 24, 1951 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Albert J. and Frances (Bernaciak) Castagnacci. In 2007 he retired from the radiation protection department of First Energy’s Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station. Al served in the United States Air Force Reserves from 1970-1977.

Al enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a member of the American Legion and Southside Sportsman’s Club. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Quinn) Castagnacci, on January 16, 1996. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Shannon McGuire, Heather and Brian Stumpf, and Justin and Lane Castagnacci. He was “Pops” to his grandchildren, Audrey, Liam and Declan McGuire, and Helena (Ellie) and Oliver Stumpf. Brother of David Castagnacci, and Marilyn and Larry Carelli.

Memorials in his name can be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research. As per Al’s wishes, he will be cremated and buried with his beloved wife, at a later time.
