Albert Peter Martinez, 66, of Clinton, passed July 3, 2026 in the comfort of his home that he shared with his sister, Linda, surrounded by his family. Born March 12, 1960 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Peter & Belia (Diaz) Sixtos Martinez. Albert had worked as a laborer in Local #872 in Las Vegas before retiring. A veteran of the US Army, he served as a SP4 in the 1st armored division “Old Ironside”. While he was serving, he was an accomplished boxer with many knock outs under his belt. Also, an accomplished artist…desiging many insignias for buildings and on plaques for the army.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Michael & Robert Martinez, his sister, Patricia McGowan, and his girlfriend of 36 years, Teresa Magus. Albert is survived by his brother, Raymond Martinez and his sister, Linda M. Hyde & Angelo Crivelli. His nieces & nephews are Amanda Beneviat, Christopher Gahagan, Maria McGowan, Jeff McGowan, Celeste Stone and Justin Luketic, also many great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA. 15026 on Friday, July 10th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm where his services will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 11 am with Rev. Keith Black officiating. Military honors will be performed immediately following the service by the Beaver County Special Unit. Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Beaver County Special Unit in care of the funeral home.

Bradford Darrell “Brad” Toogood; March 12, 1948 – June 28 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bradford Darrell Toogood, lovingly known as Brad, who passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those who cherished him most.

Born on March 12, 1948, Brad spent his life building a legacy rooted in hard work, devotion, and deep love within Clinton, the Beaver County community he proudly called home.

A masterful floor coverer and a dedicated union member for more than 40 years, Brad took great pride in his craft. His work ethic was matched only by his appreciation for the world around him.

An avid lover of nature, he found joy in fishing, exploring woodlands, and spending quiet moments with a good book.

Brad possessed a brilliant mind and a lifelong passion for history, the arts, and meaningful conversations, especially when shared over a hearty meal.

Brad now reunites with his parents, Clifford and Elizabeth Toogood; recently his brother, Clifford “Biff” Toogood; his childhood sweetheart and first wife, Karen (Bennett); and the love of his life and second wife, Carol (Rabich).

Their memories were a constant source of comfort and strength throughout his life.

He leaves behind a family who adored him deeply; his daughter, Alicia, and her husband, Kevan; his son, Victor; his grandchildren, Joseph (Carolina), Joshua, Emmy, Andrew, Sadie, and Dustyn; and his great-grandchildren, Kole and Lacey.

Brad’s presence, wisdom, quick-witted humor, and unwavering love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Brad’s life was one of quiet strength, curiosity, and connection. His legacy lives on in the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the family he loved so fiercely.

Honoring Brad’s wishes, there will be no public viewing. A graveside service for family will be held to lay him to rest with love and dignity.

A celebration of life to honor both Brad and his brother Biff will be held at a later date, where friends and extended family can gather to share memories and pay tribute to their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Beaver County Humane Society in Brad’s memory, an organization that reflects his lifelong love and respect for animals.

Mark Patrick Jackson, 38, passed away on June 11, 2026. He was born on November 5, 1987 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jackson. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Jackson; his brothers, Ryan (Courtney) Jackson, his beloved nephew and niece, Ethan and Charlie Jackson, and Eric (Kelly) Jackson.

Mark worked for Pittsburgh Rigging. He took great pride in his work and loved his co-workers immensely. His favorite bridge to rig was New River Gorge, WV.

Mark was an avid sports fan whose passion knew no bounds. He was a dedicated supporter of Pittsburgh sports teams and could always be found cheering on his favorite teams, discussing the latest game, or sharing his enthusiasm for sports with family and friends.

A traveler at heart, Mark enjoyed exploring the United States and beyond, creating cherished memories on many adventures with his mother. Whether close to home or far away, he embraced every journey with curiosity, excitement, and a genuine appreciation for people and places he encountered.

Mark will be remembered for his kindness, his infectious spirit, his loyalty to those he loved, and the countless memories he created with family and friends. Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

Joseph J. Moore, 58, of Imperial (Findlay Twp) on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Joe worked for Michael Facchiano Contracting for over 16 years and was a member of Operating Engineers Local #66.

Beloved son of the late James and Loretta (Yoder) Moore. Dear brother of Tina (Kevin) Donohoo, Tim (LuAnn) Moore, and Ben Moore. A private service will be held at a later date. Rena Ann Poole, 77, of College Grove, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on May 22, after courageously battling liver cancer. She was born on February 25, 1949, to George and Delores Logan in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Rena attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and graduated in 1971 with a BS in Medical Technology. She married Tom Poole on July 29, 1972, and together they had two sons, Brad and Jeff, both of whom became physicians. She always felt they were her greatest accomplishment and was profoundly proud of them.

Rena worked as a medical technologist in the pediatric hematology/oncology lab at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for 35 years. She was a highly regarded colleague and a dear friend to many at the hospital. A passionate sports fan, she loved cheering for the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, but was especially devoted to youth baseball and following Brad and Jeff’s journey from Little League through college baseball at the University of Pittsburgh. She also cherished her annual fall trips to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for more than 30 years, where she loved to relax and unwind by the ocean.

Rena is survived by her husband, Tom; her son Brad (Amanda) and their daughters Madilyn and Mia; and her son Jeff (Savannah) and their children Davey, Rocky, and Pippa, as well as his daughters MacKenna and Aila. She is also survived by her sisters, Patti, Susie, and Lori, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Delores; her brother, Ray; and her nephew, Kenny Ray.

Visitation will be held on May 30 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA. Funeral services will be held on May 31 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home, with Randall Reddinger officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery at 1771 Route 30 in Clinton. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Children’s Diabetes Foundation.

RUSSELL DEWANE WILSON (77) 1948-2026

With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved, Russell D. Wilson, (Pippy, Rick, Rusty), as he took his last breath on April 5, 2026, at the home he built in Robinson Township, Washington County.

From humble beginnings, being born on the farm during Thanksgiving dinner preparations, on November 25, 1948 in Clinton, PA to James H. and Olive (McCullough) Wilson, he was the youngest of eight children. He built a life anchored in core values of hard work, honesty, resilience and a dislike for milk products – the family cow got into some skunk weed and tainted the milk!

Russ was a devoted son, brother, and husband to Sherry (Eaton) for 41 years; a loving father to Tammy (John) and Eric; an ornery grandfather to Victoria (Corey), Chase, Logan, and Domenic; and a life-long friend to many that would Christmas Carol in the middle of July – in the middle of the night.

After graduating from West Allegheny High School, Russell joined the US Army as a Radio Telegraph Operator. Upon his return home, he took up working with his brother repairing Texaco pumps, became a machine operator and basically became a jack of all trades. He was an avid baker, learned to build furniture, liked to play cards and developed a soft spot for furry friends.

He was a man who measured life not in accomplishments, but the simpler things in life to appreciate from picking your own berries to make jam, to ensuring that the next generation would keep their word and help someone on the side of the road.

In addition to the people he loved in this tribute, he is survived by his sister, Nancy and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Moody Funeral Home, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Thursday, April 9 from 2-6 pm with the service immediately following at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.

William LeRoy Marburger, 85, of Imperial (Independence Twp.) passed Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born August 10, 1940, in Clinton, he was a son of the late LeRoy Wilson & Grace (Groom) Marburger.

Bill, along with his father and brother, Hap, were the owners and operators of Marburger and Sons Excavating. He was a member of Oakdale Masonic Lodge # 669 F & AM the Scottish Rite and was also a Syria Shriner. Also a member of the National Pike Steam & Horse Association, Beaver Valley Antique Association and the HCEA.

Many will have seen him as Santa Claus at Janoski’s Greenhouse during the Christmas season.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Carol Beitsinger Marburger. He is survived by his original wife, Donna C. (Henderson) Marburger, his sons William M. Marburger & Gregory L. Marburger, and his daughter and son-in-law Lori & David Girard. His brother Harry D. “Hap” and his wife Joyce Marburger, and his grandson Zachary D. Marburger.

Friends will be received at the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. His service will be held Tuesday, March 31st, 11:00 AM, at the Clinton U.P. Church, 25 Wilson Rd., Clinton, PA 15026. His pastor, the Rev. Dr. Karen Younger will officiate. EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET AT THE CHURCH for the service. JoAnn Hughes, 79, of Clinton (Hanover Twp) passed Saturday evening, February 21, 2026 at Encompass Health & Rehabilitation Hospital of Sewickley. Born June 11, 1946, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Charles N. & Marie (Kramer) Obeldobel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Hughes. Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Jo & Kevin Ulens; sister of Charles & Thomas Obeldobel and Nancy Koteles. Grandmother of Devin (Katie) Nestler and Richelle Nestler (Delaney Schmidt), Adam (Caitlin) Ulens, and Tyler (Eduardo) Ulens. Great-grandmother of 5, Landon, Harper, Madison, Logan and Mia.

JOYCE A. NESBITT, 80, of Brighton Township, passed away Friday morning, February 6, 2026 at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Joyce was the daughter of Allen Alexander and Faith (Criss) Alexander. She was the former owner/operator of a poultry farm in Clinton, PA until the land was taken over by the Pittsburgh airport.

A blessing will be given by Father John Ferguson at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 10th, in the Moody Funeral Home, and she will be laid to rest alongside her mother in the Hopewell-Hebron cemetery.

Richard Rhodes, 90, of Clinton, PA passed away on January 25, 2026. Rich was the owner and operator of Rhodes Lawn and Garden in Imperial, PA.

Rich was born June 10, 1935 to the late Ira Rhodes and Isabella Chabassol Ellis. Rich was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth.

He leaves many friends to mourn his loss. Among them are George Francic, Mary Ann Francic, Al Peek, Darla Carson, and Tim Rettinger. Also left behind are his beloved cats, Clinton and Lady George.

Per the request of Rich, there will be no service or viewing.
