CHESTER HUGHES, 92, of Clinton, passed Thursday morning, July 27, 2023 at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 12, 1931 in Clinton, he was a son of the late Fieldy and Florence (Gray) Hughes. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the local UMWA.

Beloved husband of Evelyn E. (Drugmand) Hughes; dear father of Linda and Frank Weible, and Brenda and Ron Huart; brother of Darlene Jackson and Barbara Hughes. Grandfather of 6; Frankie Weible, Lorrie Holdsworth, Jason Weible, Sharon Palas, Erik Huart, and Lacey Gallupe. Great grandfather of 3; Ava Weible, Nova Huart, and Maylah Huart.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Sunday July 30th from 2-4 and 6-8 where his service will be held Monday at 11 am. The Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
