JOYCE MAMULA ANSKATE, 58, of Independence Township passed away on May 8, 2023 in her home. Born March 16th, 1965 in Beaver, she was the daughter of Marian (Bruce) Parks and the late James Mamula. Joyce was a homemaker, had worked in the health care industry as a medical assistant and a cafeteria worker at Hopewell Jr. High. She loved the outdoors, her animals, and music.

Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Anskate Sr., her father, James Mamula, her step son, William Anskate Jr. and nephew, Steven (Jacob) Mamula.

She is survived by her children, Zac Mamula (his wife Heather and their daughter Haley), Jessie Kelly (her husband Ryan, and their children Carter, Brentley, and Remi), step-son Alexander Anskate (his children Samantha, Jocelynn, Lexi, and Bella), step-daughter Rita Formosa (her children Corey, Beth and Angie), many great grandchildren, her brothers James Mamula Jr. and Steven Mamula (his wife Tina) step father, Lynn Parks and step mother, Sandra Mamula..

Friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Tuesday May 16th, 2023 from 5:00 till 8:00 pm in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026. Services will be private, and interment will follow at a later date in the John Anderson Memorial Cemetery, Aliquippa.
