Margaret I. “Peg” Schmidt

MARGARET I. “PEG” SCHMIDT, 101, of Imperial (Findlay Twp) passed Saturday morning April 16, 2022 at Kane Community Living Center.

Born April 14, 1921 in Carrollton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Hannah (Gantz) Bowen. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, August J. “Gus” Schmidt on August 29, 1995.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Patty (Skidmore) Schmidt; her sister Jennie Coffy; and her two little Angel helpers that took care of her, Ainsley and Addision.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton on Wednesday from 2 pm until the time of her service at 6 pm. The Rev. Ted Chapman of the Clinton Wesleyan Church will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
