Robert F. Hozak

ROBERT F. HOZAK, 87, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.) died peacefully Sunday morning, December 28 2014, in the comfort of his home, with family at his side.

Born January 17, 1927, in Clinton, he was a son of the late Martin and Anna (Cerny) Hozak.  Mr. Hozak was a graduate of Northwestern University and was the founder and owner of Hozak Farms since 1949.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II and the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel S. and Martin S.Hozak, and a sister, Esther Littell.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia (Healy) Hozak; sons, Martin (Amy Rhoades) Hozak, and Neal (Kelly Seigel) Hozak; daughter, Ellen (Edward F.) Dillon; grandchildren, Blake, Regan, and Jarred Hozak; sisters, Vera McCoy, Anne Buchanan, Eleanor Seanor; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 2 p.m. until the time of his services at 4 p.m. in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, Route 30, Clinton, PA.

Cremation will take place and interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will perform full military honors at the funeral home at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, January 3rd.
