Leslie D. Daniels

LESLIE D. DANIELS, 97, of Clinton, passed Tuesday evening, June 20, 2023 at the AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born August 1, 1925 in Junior, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Wesley C. and Winnie D. (Simons) Daniels. Leslie had worked as a steel worker, was a veteran of WWII serving as a specialist in the US Navy, and was a member of the Freedom Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his 1st wife, Mary E. Daniels on February 1, 2008, his 2nd wife Dorothy Arbogast, on August 25, 2022, and his son, James Albert (Jay) Daniels on June 11, 2003.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Sherry and Andy Smith, Frank and Connie Daniels, and Greg and Betty Daniels. Grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 6.

Friends will be received in the MOODY FUNERAL HOME, 1227 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where his service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11 am. Pastor David Moore will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Hopewell-Hebron Cemetery.
